Winners of Falling Walls Lab Turku 2017
We are proud to announce the winners of the fourth annual Falling Walls Lab Turku, which was held on September 15, 2017.
1st place: Niklas Tuomola (University of Turku & Democratize): Breaking the Wall of Democratic Crisis
2nd place: Dr. Andreina Kero (Turku University Hospital): Breaking the Wall of Excess Mortality after Cancer Survival
3rd place: Tanja Sjöros (University of Turku): Breaking the Wall of Excess Sitting

Niklas Tuomola and Andreina Kero will compete in the Lab Finale in Berlin on November 8, where 100 international and interdisciplinary finalists present their winning ideas. They will also have the opportunity to attend the internationally renowned Falling Walls Conference on November 9. Best of luck to both finalists!
